"Perfume Bottle No. 1 Toilet Trim “perles” (1926) By Rene Lalique (1860-1945):"
Pair of "Perles" bottles (marked similarities with the "Palermo" model), created 1926. Industrial proofs of cylindrical shape with truncated conical bodies, the necks with protruding caps topped with their original half-sphere cap on the model. White satin glass, molded and pressed, with relief decoration on lids and bodies of rows of falling pearls distributed over three tiered friezes, and forming garlands with an ovoid motif. 600. PERFUME BOTTLE N° 1, model created on March 19, 1926, blown-pressed and opalescent white glass, molded-pressed cap, height 20.50 cm; Signed and numbered. Appears in the “CATALOG RAISONNE OF GLASS WORKS” - by R. LALIQUE by FELIX MARCILHAC (“LES EDITIONS DE L’AMATEUR” of 2011) number 600, page 344.
