Filigree silver pendant with a central vermeil medallion made using the traditional filigree technique, typical of 17th century Spanish craftsmanship and features meticulous work of intertwined silver threads creating complex and detailed openwork designs. On the front a representation of Saint George fighting a dragon symbolizing bravery and faith. On the back, a delicate scene depicts the Virgin and Child evoking maternal tenderness and divine protection. Every detail of this pendant bears witness to the Spanish artisanal know-how of the period, merging technical precision and artistic expression.
