Work in the style
A curiosity in the cabinet, this crab is dynamic and particularly detailed, with a dark green patina. Originally, these small bronzes were cast directly onto the model. This is a fine object of curiosity, based on the designs developed in Padua by the entourage of Andrea Riccio in the early 16th century.
