"After Georges Morland, Fishermen Pulling A Boat, Enamel On Copper By Jean Bétourné Limoges"
Superb enamel on copper hand painted by master enameler Jean Bétourné. He reproduced the famous painting "Fishermen pulling a boat" painted in 1791 by Georges Morland (1763-1804) which is kept at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Bétourné has succeeded here in a very beautiful achievement with perfect mastery of colors and details with the complexity of the passage to fire which has not modified the whole. This is a work of very high quality. Limoges, circa 1980. Gilded wood frame. Delivery 30 euros in France, 80 euros in the EU and 150 euros rest of the world.
