Wooden chair designed by Italian designer Enzo Mari in 1974. "The beauty of the object lies in the simplicity of its manufacture." “Autoprogettazione”, the project led by Enzo Mari in 1974, introduced a small revolution which is in complete correlation with the growing success of DIY (Do It Yourself). Finnish furniture brand Artek put this exceptional idea, the Sedia1 chair by E. Mari, into production in 2010. Customers could purchase pre-cut pine boards, nails and instructions and build the object themselves. Rare limited edition (no longer available) of this chair by Enzo Mari for Artek.
