"Louis XVI Style Terminal Clock"
Louis XVI style terminal clock with attributes of the love of peace and music. White enameled dial indicating the hours by Arabic numerals connected by half crowns of polychrome flowers. Mechanism in perfect working order, completely overhauled. Plate, balance wheel and dial rim bearing the same number (9250). Inscription stamped in the lower part of the plate: Silver medal 1855. The top part of the terminal is surmounted by a pair of doves and a torch. The lower part of the terminal is flanked on either side by military attributes and music. Carrara marble base with convex facade inscribing an interlacing of flowered garlands. Small spinning top feet with crowns of water leaves. Original 2-tone mercury gilding, matt and shiny agate burnished, cleaned and in perfect condition.
