Object description :

"18th Century George III Period Mahogany Twin-pillar Dining Table"
A fine untouched late 18th-century George III period extending mahogany two-pedestal dining table with a solid rectangular top. The table boasts great quality and color to the solid Cuban mahogany. It stands on a pair of beautiful ring gun-barrel turned pillars and a quadripartite stand with four outswept saber legs terminating in beautiful brass castors. The table features two D-shaped end sections and one original leaf, allowing it to extend to accommodate 8 - 10 people.
