THE LOOKING HARE Antoine-Louis BARYE (1796-1875), emblematic artist of romantic sculpture, had Antoine Gros, then Eugène Delacroix, as his masters. Throughout his career, he executed true masterpieces of anatomical precision, which express a perfect mastery of the restitution of movements and characters. It is today exhibited at the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay and in many major museums around the world. Fine and translucent brown patina, revealing the qualities of the alloy.
