"19th Century Bloodletting Case."
Bleeding case in bovine horn and nickel silver, containing four lancets in horn, tortoiseshell and metal. 3 lancets marked FAVRE, 1 of a different illegible brand. Sharp steel blades. Lancets approximately 9cm open, case 7.4cm x 2.8cm. Condition: Small chip and crack on the bottom of the case. Lancets in good condition with patina and slight wear, as is, see photos! Mid-19th century France.
