"Andre Devambez Watercolor Lithograph Painting "new Year's Day" Caricature "
Original lithograph by André DEVAMBEZ (1867-1945) watercolored and signed lower left by the artist. It is presented under glass in its original gilded wooden frame, a plaque bears the title "New Year's Day". An identical work was part of the painter's retrospective at the Petit Palais in Paris in 2022, it also had its frame similar to this one. André DEVAMBEZ Parisian artist of the Belle Epoque, with unbridled humor, was at the same time painter, engraver and illustrator. He had his own publishing house.
