"Majestic Louis XIV 2-body Buffet In Oak"
Majestic 2-body buffet from the Louis XIV period (around 1670) in Burgundy oak from the South West of France. Opening in the lower part onto 2 finely carved doors as well as in the central part 1 drawer and a small door on a base with large moldings with a corner projection resting on 2 raven legs. In the upper part 2 doors ending in a gendarme's hat which are also finely carved with decoration of acanthus leaf scrolls and opening onto 2 beautiful scalloped shelves on the front and ending with a large cornice of beautiful molding in the shape of a gendarme's hat. The set is in very good used and aesthetic condition as well as the keys and locks functioning. The piece of furniture can be dismantled into 4 parts (base, low body, high body, cornice) Overall dimensions 177 cm in length by 77 cm in depth and 295 cm in height
