Rare Arrageois platter in solid silver from the 18th century, circular in shape with contoured threads. Marli engraved with period alliance coats of arms framed by greyhounds, all stamped with a Marquis Crown. Hallmark of the City of ARRAS (Initials "AR" surmounted by the crowned rat), Hallmark of Jurande for ARRAS 1781-82 (D Crowned) and Hallmark of the Master Goldsmith Louis PIERREQUIN (Hallmark with the crowned initials "LP") received in 1776. Rare Arrageois armored dish from the Louis XV period in very good general condition and remarkably hallmarked, beautiful patina, micro-scratches from use.
