Signed intaglio on the reverse.
"Mobach Keramiek", founded in Utrecht in 1895, is considered one of the greatest dynasties of Dutch ceramicists. Always of very high quality, their production has been and remains handcrafted, in small quantities or in unique pieces.
Brown, red and pale green glazed chamotte earth. Large flat handle at the bottom.
The electrical assembly appears to be original, attached to the neck by a thick cork. (We think it is possible to remove this cap, stuck to the putty, if we want to remove the lighting part; the vase is not drilled, the electrical supply being external).
The brass rod is removable, it is adjustable in height by a screw; it supports 3 screw sockets and the lampshade. The latter is old, complete, but has stains. However, with its particular carcass (installed), and the pattern, it is possible to have it redone.
The ceramic foot is in excellent condition, we have not detected any defects.
Height of the ceramic: 61.5 cm, of the lampshade: 81 cm
Width of the foot at the handle: 27.5 cm, diameter: 18.5 cm
Lampshade: diameter of 27 cm at the top at 40 cm at the bottom
Total weight: 10.2 kg
