Uniform early 19th century bindings in full crimson morocco, fillet and stylized framing fillet finished with golden spandrels carried on each of the boards, ribbed spine decorated with golden fillets, golden dotted fillets, Greek frieze on an emerald background adorning each of the boxes, gilt title, gilt volume number, set of gilt dots on the cuts, gilt edges, gilt interior lace. Complete set of the 8 volumes constituting it; here covered in delicious full morocco bindings. ''Edition printed in 250 copies''. (in Brunet).
