Joseph Moillet: Rare Sterling Silver Goblet :/ Tumbler Decor Lambrequins Birds Paris 1725

Rare goblet in solid silver from the very beginning of the 18th century resting on a foot with a border of gadroons. Body surrounded by double nets with lambrequins on the lower part and the upper part with foliage scrollwork with birds. Foot engraved in small characters "PD". Hallmark of Charge (A crowned intertwined with two Ls in figure) and of Discharge (caduceus) for PARIS 1722-26 (A Crowned), Hallmark of Jurande for PARIS 1725 (Hallmark with crowned "I") and Hallmark of the Master Goldsmith Joseph MOILLET (mark with the initials "IM" had a six-pointed wheel) received in 1695.
