Superb and rare painting from the Pont Aven school of Louis Georges Eleonor Roy known as Louis Roy. Born in Pologny in the Jura in 1862 and died in 1907. French painter and engraver linked to the Impressionist and Synthetist and Symbolist movement of the Pont Aven school group. Friend of Paul Gauguin. Here is a magnificent still life with very luminous fruits with mastered colors and a great pictorial technique. Oil on cardboard, signed on the back in ink. In very good condition, oil cleaned.
