The head and gaze turned to the left with a mischievous look and loose, curly hair.
The bottom of the child's bust extends over the base.

Jean-Marie CAMUS (1877-1955) was born in Clermont Ferrand. A student of Barrias and Coutan, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris from 1900 and received a gold medal "out of competition" in 1931. Knight of the Legion of Honor.
