Natsume or Matcha powder tea box in kuro urushi nuri, black urushi lacquer, with bamboo decoration (Take). The interior is entirely in kuro urushi nuri and on the base also in kinmakie, the mei, signature of the artist, Keizan ??, appears incarnate. The container includes the original paulownia wood transport and conservation box, also featuring the signature, calligraphy and hanko seal in vermilion ink of the artist himself. In addition, the piece includes, as an additional certificate, a fabric in which the master's mei and his personal seal are once again reflected. Keizan, whose full real name is Goro Hirano??, is a lacquerware and makie artist of enormous reputation, respected and admired for her exquisite work and great skill in the use of kinmakie in her designs for natsume.
