Pair of Louis XVI style Bronze Candelabra, by DENIERE. Rare pair of 3-light candelabra in gilded and patinated bronze on a base combining marble and bronze. In pure Louis XVI style, this pair is decorated with 3 patinated putti intertwined in oak branches. They are placed on a fluted marble column and octagonal base with 4 gilded bronze feet. The subject of the 3 intertwined putti is found in the work of DENIERE, His Candelabra are unsigned, probably born with a clock. Generally When born with a clock only the clock is signed by the Manufacturer. We can give the authorship of its candelabras to the DENIERE house. We found the same putti entwined in a trim sold by the Marc Maisons house. The whole is in very good state of conservation. Height: 42 cm
