"The Bather After Falconet, Porcelain Biscuit Sculpture, 19th Century"
Biscuit sculpture representing a young bather based on the original created by Etienne Maurice Falconet in 1757 in marble preserved in the Louvre. Originally, the title was Nymph who descends from the bath, the original marble was in the collections of Mme Du Barry. Our porcelain bicuit proof is in very good condition and dates from the end of the 19th century around 1890. No signature or trademark.
