"Panel - Mirror - Verre églomisé - Hunting - C. 1950"
Large decorative mirror in églomisé glass representing a herd composed of a deer, does and fawn. This stunning mirror features the verre églomisé technique, which dates back to ancient times and involves attaching a thin sheet of gold or silver to the underside of the glass. The drawing is then executed with drypoint and then held in place by a second layer of glass. Our mirror is of very high quality. Very good state. It has been framed (recently) to allow better handling. Around 1950.
