Two Pairs Of 19th Century Rocaille Tieback Doors

Description:
Chiseled and gilded bronze, water green patina.
These tieback holders are of an unusual shape, moreover the golden parts are visually enhanced by the arm in matte sea green patina. The arm has three brackets at the rear under the plate in Rocaille fleuron.
The decoration carried by the arm is typical of shells of this style. We will note inventory hallmarks as on almost all 19th century tie-back doors, indicating that they were listed on the estate inventories, therefore being valuable objects at the time.

Condition:
very good condition, gilding revived with gold leaf. There are five tieback holders but I only take into account two pairs.

Dimensions :
 Wall plate: 14 cm x 5 cm, overhang: 13 cm, total height: 20 cm.

I acquired the lot from an old bronze maker. There are various bronze elements or accessories from all periods, this type of supply is difficult to find especially for large models, therefore very decorative. I will present several models, and you can call me for a specific request that I can resolve if I also have this bronze element.
