A Louis XVI trim in white marble and gilded bronze; The annular pendulum movement is inserted in a column which supports the profile of Louis XVI in a medallion and which is surrounded, on one side by a putto (Eros) and his dog symbolizing fidelity, and on the other by a dressed woman to the antique (Venus). The base has a decoration of woven garlands and rests on four spinning top feet. Chime on the hour and half hour. The two-light candelabras are held by charming putti and have the same decoration of garlands on round bases. striking on the hours and half hours, movement in perfect working order. dimensions, pendulum: H: 38cm L: 27cm candelabra: H: 28cm L: 27 cm period: 19th century.
