A real favorite for this very large decorative piece of porcelain with a rich and generous paste: Japanese called "Koro"; a large incense burner resting on three dragon-headed legs, bulging eyes, tongue sticking out; two side grips with a pattern of large water lily flowers; the stylized decoration of branches, flowers and lyre bird cartridges on a rich red ornamented background; the bright and deep blue plays its role in the highlights for the body of this remarkable piece with its beautiful belly, the openwork cover with quatrefoils and the shape of a tapered leaf, surmounted by its golden lion dog "Komainu" showing all its teeth, it is rearing and roaring with raised head and plumed tail. From the mid-19th century (Napoleon III) this piece of ornamental Curiosity and rich colorful decor is a beautiful decoration which fits into a modern, classic or ultra contemporary house, isolated and presented as a Museum piece...
