"Okimono In Ivory - Samurai Archer - Meiji Period - 19th Century - 25cm"
Ivory okimono Represents a Samurai archer who draws his bow with an arrow. The character is represented on a terrace with his helmet at his feet and a bamboo pot containing arrows. The Okomino is signed below in a late 19th century cartouche, Meiji period. The object is in good presentation condition, only one arrow is damaged in the pot and the bow has been glued back to the level of the hand (see photos) Total height: 31cm but the height at the character's head: 25cm Shipping possible but hand delivery preferable.
