Silver and steel
Length: 92.5; Blade length: 74.5 cm
Chased olive pommel, with two medallions featuring profiles, one of which is of Caesar, found on the jointing arch. The latter is fully chased, with a teardrop-shaped quillon. Body knot on either side of a profile in a crowned medallion. Rivure knob.
Top with two open-chased pontats, with crowned medallion profiles of a helmeted soldier, two Caesars and a wise man on the outside and inside; rocaille surround.
Silver spindle with alternating silver thread filigree.
Blade with lightly engraved middle edge, slightly blackened from oxidation.
Good condition.
