Beautiful wrought iron flintlock rifle lock, decorated in light relief with characters, children's heads, fantastic animal heads and others; The main spring has undergone an old repair (welding) in the middle; the date of 1740 engraved near the trigger very probably corresponds to the year of this repair, as it was sometimes customary to date a repair, and considering that this plate is prior to this date. Object with characteristic ornamentation from Brescia, Italy, early 18th century
