Ancient majolica bowl, a large circular basin- shaped centerpiece, with scalopped rim and vertical ribs, decorated with bouquets of colorful flowers and leaves. Small chips and losses as per images details, consistent with age and use.
Unmarked bottom, this polychrome faience bowl is of Italian origin and the flower decoration is typical of Lodi manufacture, near Milan and dates back to mid eighteenth century, 1770’s circa.
