Tabriz carpet with a floral and cut-out medallion, accompanied along the length by pendants in the shape of large flowered halberds.
This piece measures 270 cm wide by 370 cm long.without fringes( with fringes +20 cm = 390 cm
## In perfect used condition, wool of the finest quality for velvet, fringes and selvedges in perfect condition.
This magnificent Indo-Persian rug takes up the criteria of ancient Persian decorations, knotted with great finesse and superb quality of Kork wool. Around 1980, we could hardly imagine the immense work to create such a marvel.
The quality of these pieces cannot be demonstrated, the work is fine, precise and durable over time.
The materials used are of the highest quality: fine and soft kork wool, taken from the neck and under the belly of the lambs (first shearing) makes up the velvet knotted on fine cotton for the weft. This rug is clean, the wool is knotted beautifully and finely tight as these rugs always are. It reveals to us shades full of contrasts, many colors, including numerous blues, red, almond green, black and ivory....
A medallion with an ivory and deep brown field, four ivory spandrels decorated with flowers and branches.
It is surrounded by a border bringing together branches and large stylized flowers.
