Delicate carpet with central ivory medallion inlaid with scrolls, garlands of arabesque flowers surrounding a burgundy star medallion on a navy background.

These carpets are made in the city of Isfahan in southwest Iran. They are considered today to be among the most beautiful Persian carpets. They are characterized by a very high density, richly detailed patterns and high quality of materials. Incredible finesse!

Condition: Good condition, shortened fringes, on one side the fringes have become pink (drips).
