"Maw's Portable Domestic Cabinet Pharmacy"
Small English personal pharmacy and transport "S. Maw's portable domestic medical cabinet", dating from around 1850-1860. In a mahogany box with brass handle, with several compartments, are stored various pharmaceutical bottles but also a scale and weights, a glass syringe, a small porcelain mortar and a very small glass mortar, a tongue depressor? or a pharmacy knife? with rosewood handle, etc. The whole thing is a little faded but from the period. The box measures, closed, 21x18x15 cm.
