Pair of armchairs in gray-blue relacquered wood with bronze patina, Return from Egypt model with antique-style bust of a woman wearing an oriental turban, rolling back, clawed front legs and Etruscan-style rear legs, curved like a saber . Consulate period, late 18th century or 1800. Beautiful model with elegant proportions, fine and nervous sculpture, perfect finishes. Our armchairs have a horsehair trim on straps, they have been covered in duck blue velvet (Maison Lelièvre), which has been "struck" or "embossed" by Maison Bonvallet (Laetitia motif placed on the back and the seat), we had it enhanced with old gold braid, studded. A beautiful historical collector's item, our seats are interesting for the elegance of their lines and a beautiful "national furniture style" restoration.
