"Chape In Lampas With Lace - France Regency Period Circa 1720"
Circa 1720 France Chape in lampas with lace sewn in five complete strips of their edges (48 cm each strip) dating from the Regency or the beginning of the Louis XV period. Lampas green satin background edging with large design ordered with the stylized pomegranate inscribed in imaginary foliage close to the Bizarre taste. Two small repairs, a few pulled threads, three or four micro wax stains (!) as well as a slight color variation at the bottom of the screed which was dismantled (without lining). Only defects to report for approximately 5 linear meters in five cuts. Fabric durable enough to be reused for historical decoration. Good general and stable condition. Dimensions: width 303 cm, at the highest 112 cm, wingspan 413 cm.
