Extraordinary Empire mantel clock, chariot with deer, dog and goddess Diana, Paris ca. 1810. Gilt bronze clock representing Diana, goddess of the hunt with the moon on her head and her attributes of bow and arrows on a chariot with a deer pulled by a pair of dogs. French 8-day movement, blue enameled annular dial with Roman numerals. Black marble base with beautiful relief decoration of garlands and allegorical scenes with cornucopias, a faun and other symbols. Very chic clock with an excellent bronze statue, beautiful composition. In perfect condition. HP 50 cm L 56 cm 17 cm.
