Beautiful and rare icon of the Annunciation dating from the first half of the 19th century and coming from the Volga region of Russia.
It is finely painted with tempera in rich, warm tones on a gilded background.
In the center of the composition, the Archangel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will give birth to Christ.
The icon is in very good original condition. Some small cracks and wear from time.
