Very decorative in the Empire style, from the Napoleon III period dated 1882. Large Medici vase in richly ornamented gilded bronze, very in relief, decorated at the top by two magnificent sphinxes sitting on a shell sheltering a lion's muzzle holding a mobile drapery. The outline is chiseled with a thick acanthus leaf and a row of pearls, as well as four portraits in the antique enrhubanné including two masks of Egyptian women arranged in the center. Rectangular base engraved date "1882"
Functional vase with its original and removable inner bowl.
