We no longer present the superb TROMPES-L'OEIL by the artist Didier Gardillou, with their incredible realism. The STRAWBERRIES presented in a napkin are entirely made of porcelain and painted by hand. Dimensions: Diam. 20 cm - Height 9.5 cm, Artist's mark - a "bell" Painted with a brush in blue corresponding to the signature of Didier GARDILLOU, Period: CONTEMPORARY The TROMPES L'OEIL by Didier Gardillou are ideal for decorating your tables, fireplaces, edges windows...perfect to give as gifts to those around you or for yourself... DIDIER GARDILLOU, Ceramic artist for over 30 years. Master of trompe l'oeil and porcelain flowers, he is the only one in Europe to achieve a larger-than-life realism in his creations. His background: Didier Gardillou, an aptitude in the plastic arts, a visit to the Adrien Dubouché Museum will definitely direct him towards arts applied to the earth. 1972-1977 Training at ENAD in Limoges directed by Jean-Jacques Prolongeau. He becomes his student and his collaborator in the workshop and participates in the 1% architectural projects and in the manufacture of shaped pieces (stoneware, earthenware, painting on porcelain, etc.). 1979 Winner of the Chambre Syndicale des Ceramistes et Ateliers d’Art de France. 1st prize at the Ateliers d'Art fair for all of his work presented (sculptures in porcelain biscuits and porcelain enameled in petit feu colors). 1981: exhibition at MAD Paris for “contemporary French Ceramics, sources and trends”. Porcelain and trompe-l'oeil decorations. 1983: Gold medal at the Paris Fair. 1st prize in the creativity competition, craftsmen's fair (sculpture in nine elements). Exhibition in Tokyo in partnership with the Printemps store, Ateliers d'art de France, Air France and the Paris Chamber of Commerce. 1982: Purchases by the Presidency of the Republic for Denmark and Spain (cabbage terrine, shaped pieces). At the beginning of the 90s, the master Prolongeau joined the student in his workshop to collaborate on decorations on porcelain (vases and cups). Permanent exhibitions in Gstaad. Works in private collections in France, Switzerland, USA, Japan, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Italy… and public collections at the Sèvres and London Museums.
