"François Linke"
Exceptional and very rare bronze rocaille style clock created by the sculptor and ornamentalist Léon messagé (1841 - 1901).
 
He is known for his collaboration with François Linke (1855 - 1946) for the Universal Exhibition which took place in Paris in 1900.
Thanks to their alliance ; Léon Messagé had enormous success at the end of the 19th century.
An identical clock is published in François Linke's book written by Christopher Payne , page 93.
