"Late 19th Century Marble Presentation Column"
Beautiful presentation column in green marble veined with black, base with cut sides (diam 34 cm) topped with moldings, the gadrooned and fluted barrel is decorated with a garland of flowers held by ribbons and draperies. The top, molded below and bordered on top by an inverted cavet, is rectangular in shape, to accommodate groups of sculpture, bronze or marble. The top is rotating. The set consists of three elements in very good condition, work from the end of the 19th century, perhaps Italian.
