This Grainger & Co. Worcester porcelain vase is of ovoid form with gilt snake handles, decorated with Pâte-sur-Pâte decoration attributed to Kate Locke, circa 1875. It is a museum-quality exhibit, decorated with relief floral designs on a base the color of pale primrose. The underside of the foot bears an embossed shield, presumably with the initials GGW for Grainger & Co. Worcester. The pattern number is 636.

Condition:
Minimal, barely noticeable loss of gilding on the rim. Otherwise, in excellent antique condition without any signs of cracks, loss of enamel, paint, or gilding.
