"South East Asia. Silver Pumpkin Box, Circa 1900"
Engraved silver box from Southeast Asia, pumpkin-shaped, with a six-lobed lid, with a stem-shaped grip decorated with turquoise petals. On each lobe of the body of the box, a different decoration represents respectively exotic flowers and shrubs on a guilloché background. Work around 1900. 925/1000 silver, stamped on the bottom of the box, French “weevil” control mark on the edge of the lid. Diameter: 6 cm Height: 5.6 cm Weight: 58 g Very good condition
