Small silver mustard pot resting on a circular pedestal. The body, pinched and slightly bulging towards the lower part, is topped with a hinged lid decorated with a laurel frieze and surmounted by a seed socket. The handle has scrolls of foliage. Gold interior. France, end of the 19th century. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks. Master goldsmith: Bointaburet, Paris. Height: 6.7 cm. Diameter: 5.2 cm. Weight: 74g. Joint: a small mustard spoon in 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmark. --- Very good state.
