French School of the 19th century, watercolor with pastel highlights, it represents a cavalry soldier, trumpet of the Dragoons of the Imperial Guard, during the Crimean War. At the bottom right a sending to General de cavelerie Gustave Coste, Count of Champéron. The watercolor is presented in a rich wooden frame gilded with gold leaf in Louis XVI style from the Napoleon III period.
