Early 19th century France - Auvergne Beautiful engraved and polychromed horn snuffbox, hand engraved. Fine work of Auvergne folk art in beautiful condition. The scene on the lid depicts flowers and motif friezes with an uninscribed medallion, and the sides are engraved with birds. On the back of the snuff box there are geometric patterns.
