"Grand Tour Bronze Of Dionysus — Previously Identified As Narcissus "
Large Grand Tour of Dionysus with nuanced brown patina. He is presented nude, in contraposto with sandals and a skin tied around his shoulder. The statue is after the original bronze that was discovered in 1862 in the
Vicolo del Balcon Pensile in Pompeii, and formerly identified as Narcissus. The sculpture is found in good original condition with a nice patina and quality of sicelure.
End of the 19th century.
