Pair of Chinese porcelain vases Qianlong period 18th century Brought back to France under Louis XV, it was mounted in bronze with decorations of dolphins. The bronze is remarkably finely chiseled, gilded and polished with agate. The bronze mount is of a very beautiful quality powder pink glaze, in the center of two cartridges, two roosters and a butterfly are represented in a garden. On the body, friezes and chrysanthemum flowers typical of the rose family are represented. Dimensions 25 x 13 x 9 cm Excellent condition, no restoration has been made (checked under UV lamp) Very small email skips (see photos)
