Sublime pair of obelisks in the empire style, return from Egypt, early 20th century. Pyramidal architecture made of marble and translucent green onyx. Obelisks end with a point cut on four sides, they are each the same height, points not recut and without restoration.Rich decoration on the facade of hieroglyphs engraved in the marble, work of great precision bringing a very interesting and very decorative appeal. Each base is decorated with outstretched wings of a bee symbol of the Egyptian empire. Each hieroglyph is highlighted by a gold and white paint.
The marble has benefited from a gloss treatment with a mirror effect.
