"Stoneware Vase From Pierrefonds 1900 Art Nouveau"
This Pierrefonds sandstone vase has an intaglio marking. It is typical 1900 with a pretty glaze, a "420" marking. You will notice a particular shape. Pierrefonds sandstone bears under the hollow base the first mark of the factory representing the head of a helmeted knight between the letters F and H which take up the initials of its company name "La Faïence Héraldique".
