Description:
Chiseled and gilded bronze.
The trapezophores were created as table legs, seat legs, etc. (abacus). This pair in the empire style was probably the front legs of a seat. A lion's paw very decorated with foliage and berries carries a swan from which emerges a frieze of water leaves in a capital.
The quality is excellent. A pierced flange on the upper part will allow a solid and easy fixing whatever the use.
Condition:
very good condition, no lack or accident.
Dimensions:
Height: 39.5 cm, foot 6 cm length x 5 cm, upper part: 7.5 cm x 5 cm.
I acquired the lot from an old bronzier. There are various bronze elements or accessories and from all periods, this kind of supply is difficult to find especially for large models, therefore very decorative. I will present several models, and you can call me for a specific request that I can resolve if I also have this bronze element.
