COUPLE OF GUERIDONS, FRANCE, SECOND HALF OF THE 18th CENTURY in lacquered and gilded wood and inlaid with bone and various woods, octagonal-shaped shelf profiled by gilt frame and entirely ornamented with large vase of flowers framed on the sides by whorls of leaves on which two birds rest, subtended by drapery-pattern carving, ebonized turned shaft with gilt profiles resting on hexagonal-section column with alternately gilt faces decorated with festoons of flowers, tripod foot with three scrolls ending in curls lacquered with festoons of flowers,
